  • MADS PIERCE

Mads is a freelance photographer and videographer. She first picked up a camera in sixth form, and after doing the odd job here and there, she finally went full time in her own business in April 2021. Since then, she has photographed a huge variety from weddings and live events, to gyms and food, and quite a bit in between! Since having a fascination for YouTube and all things video since childhood, she slowly started experimenting with video in late 2022, and now almost 50% of her bookings are for videography. Mads prides herself on capturing the pure emotion of a moment through her images and videos, and does so inconspicuously, but with the ability of creating huge energy when called for! She now splits her time between freelance photography and videography in her own business, capturing and editing images, videos and even podcasts for Electric Cat Productions, and the occasional weekend catering with her best friend. She hopes to inspire the next wave of creative camera folk, not to be bound by the years of imagery we have to draw from, and instead find their own unique way of storytelling through the lens.

  • PIPPA MCGUIRE

The first day working in events I put 750 chair covers on chairs, and I still came back the next day. Having a love of theatre from an early age, I love seeing the magic of a live experience come together and seeing the change in people from when they walk in to when they leave. After 10 years of experience, I have worked my way up from an entry-level role to an Executive Producer. I mainly work in the conference space and my passion is in truly understanding what is important to the client and their business and then creating an epic live event or creative campaign to emotionally connect the audience with the key messages. My areas of expertise are in strategic direction, content creation and overseeing projects from concept to delivery. I believe you have to be a certain type of person to work in events; determined, creative, great sense of humour and open-minded. We are creative problem solvers and I believe this is the best industry with the best people. I’ve been fortunate enough to have some fantastic mentors in my career and I’d love to help someone else on their journey.
